Pre-reqs for installing DPM on Hyper-V host

Hi,

I'm relatively new to DPM.  I was reading through the pre-requisites which included some hotfixes to install to the Hyper-V host from here:

Assuming I have taken the time to fully patch my Hyper-V host, which is Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter, which of these hotfixes are necessary for the Hyper-V host or is there any harm in installing them anyways?  The Hyper-V host is not running in a cluster environment.

Also do I need to install the following on the Hyper-V guests or hosts?

• KB971394
• KB975354
