I am running server 2012 with hyper-v and dpm 2012 sp1. I live migrated the storage of a virtual machine from the E drive to the G drive of the hyper-v host. Now DPM will not backup this VM. I am backing it up via the Hyper-V VSS writer. Here is the error I'm getting:
DPM is unable to continue protection for \Backup Using Child Partition Snapshot\*** on ********* because the change tracking information is corrupt (ID 30156 Details: Do not attach the filter to the volume at this time (0x801F000F))
I have tried stopping protection of the member, deleting the data, then re-adding the VM to the group but same error.
I cannot delete the entire Protection Group as I have about 10 other VM's in it that I need to retain protection for.
Please does anyone know how to fix this?
