Do you need to deploy hotfixes\updates on both the DPM server with the hyper-V role and the Hyper-V Host?

Hi,

If you want to protect an Hyper-V cluster with DPM 2016, you install the Hyper-V role on the DPM server. But what symbiosis do the Hyper-V role on the DPM server and the Hyper-V host have?

Do you need to deploy hotfixes\updates on both the DPM server with the hyper-V and the Hyper-V Host? Or just the Hyper-V Host to fix DPM Hyper-V related issues.
