Backup Hyper-V more than 3 machines at a time

Hi,

I have Hyper-V cluster 2012 and we are using CSV.

I'm using DPM 2012 SP1 with the latest rollup to backup Hyper-V.

I'm using Hardware provider to take backup

I configured (MaxAllowedParallelBackups) in the DPM server so that it will take backup for only 3 VMs.

I monitored the backup and i saw that it DPM can backup as much VMs as lies wihtin the same backup time frame. That to say i noticed 8 VMS been backed up at the same time.

Of course i restarted the DPM server so that the Regkey will take affect.

The question is there anyway to force backup to take 3 Machines?

Another question, if MS recommend 3 VMs and the lets say that each VM backup takes 30 minutes, so how DPM can take backup for a cluster that have over than 100 VMs and still forcing the 3 VMs rule?
